Wrong Colors Displayed

Hiya,
first of all, Paul, love the extension.

Problem:
I set up a sandbox of the board I administer and spent most of a month testing, rehearsing, and customizing the upgrade from I'm ashamed to even just name the old version to 3.2.8.
I had set up mention so that it would be white-ish text on a blue background. Rather pedestrian. Like so:

Code: Select all

.mention {
    font-weight: bold;
	color: #f7f7f7;
}

.prefixo-mention {
	height: 22px;
	line-height: 22px;
	font-size: 12px;
	padding: 0 9px;
	border-radius: 10px;
	display: inline-block;
	vertical-align: middle;
	text-shadow: none;
	letter-spacing: 0;
	background: #6a6bf5;
}

.tribute-container {
    min-width: 85px;
}
So, finally, I do all that I had tested and rehearsed to the most recent copy of the board .This time, to go live.
As part of which, I composed a vast post about all the shiny new pretty. Wherein which I introduce my users to mentions.
Problem: It's not white on blue. For some reason I cannot fathom, it's red on the general dark postbody background.
It looks like so:

So, I'd greatly appreciate any pointers as to where I buggered this one up.
Thanks in advance!
