How to install

by omegaman66 » Sun Jan 24, 2016 10:33 pm

I have a working copy of 3.1.7 phpbb. I installed successfully "OneAll Social Login".

My website is being spammed to death so I downloaded the Sortables Captch. I uploaded the derky folder into the ext folder.

So I have mysite.com/my message board dirctory/ext/derky

The derky folder has the sortablescaptcha folder etc.

When Iogin and go to my admin control panel and then click on the ext tab I see a page for oneall social login but nothing for the sortablescaptcha plugin.

The reason I mention the other extension is because the main ext page looks like a page only for social login extention. I have a submit button for making changes to it.

The question is, what do I need to do other than uploading the ext to get it going? Is it possible that the other extension has screwed up the ext page... sort of has it tied up! I mean I don't even have to click on anything to see "setting" page for the other plugin.

Oh and I have already enabled the ext from the customize tab in the control panel.

The spambot contermeasure link goes to the old regular spam bot page with nothing for the sortable captcha ext???

It should be available under the spambot countermeasures as "Sortables Captcha". Please note that you first have to configure it and then come back to the page to set it as default.

Found the answer. The sortables captcha is an option in the dropdown box on the spambot countermeasures page. I was expecting to see it as something completely separate not integrated into the options already there!
