Description
Description
This extension adds a confirmation page to your board, where the user have to accept the current version of the "Terms of Use" and "Privacy Policy". User who do not accept those will no longer be able to use the board. If the "Terms of Use" and "Privacy Policy" you can easily increase the number in the ACP and everyone (except users with Founder-status) needed to accept them again.

You can add your own "Terms of Use" and "Privacy Policy" in the ACP as well. In default the standard "Terms of Use" and "Privacy Policy" from your language packages are used.

Installation

Copy the content of this repository via git clone:

git clone https://github.com/phpbb-de/phpbb-ext-tou ext/phpbbde/tou
or create the following directory structure in your phpBB-root directory:

ext/phpbbde/tou
and copy the repository content to it.

Go to "ACP" > "Customise" > "Extensions" and enable the "Terms of Use" extension.

Added permissions

The extension adds on the first install admin permissions to "full admin" role: "Can manage Terms of use" within the "Misc"-tab.
