Change wording on posts

by FatCanyoner » Wed Feb 27, 2019 5:57 am

Firstly, big thanks for this extension. A "like" type button was a regular request from users of my forum so this extension really filled an important gap.

My one request is for details of how to change the text that is inserted under posts listing the people who have thanked the author. The default text is:

"These users thanked the author [author username] for the post:"

It's pretty clunky and I'd like to change it to something simple. I also think the name of the poster doesn't need to be included. Is there a simple way to do this (I couldn't see anything in settings) or do I need to change the code somewhere?

Thanks in advance.

Ignore this. I managed to find the correct file (\thanksforposts\language\en\thanks_mod.php) and have edited it extensively to use the language of "likes" rather than "thanks" throughout my forum. It seems to work great. Thanks again.
