Can't access ACP after the installing this ext.

by Web_Star » Thu Apr 04, 2019 11:17 pm

I've installed this extention now and saw it on ACP. After I've clicked on "enable" it, my ACP was refreshed and "HTTP ERROR 500" shown.
The forum board works properly.
Can't find any way to access my ACP.
HELP!!

Please provide additional problem info:
phpBB version, PHP version, the extension version.
Also try looking in your webserver's error log for error details.

I have the same question as above. Please provide more useful information.
Also, did you disable/remove phpBB biult-in notification system somehow?

I solved the problem myself.
For affected users:

In php-myadmin under extensions, set the extension to 0. Then you have access to the acp again.

Developer: I use version 3.1.9
Compatible from 3.2?

No. As you can see at the contribution details tab, the extension is only for phpBB 3.2.

I have installed the extension, and am ready to enable it. I am a beginner with a very small board (200 members) and no test environment. Do I need to worry about losing access to the ACP when I activate? There are no other Admins, so not sure what I would do if that happens. The user above was able to regain access by setting the extension to 0 in the php-myadmin. I would not know how to do that.

I am running php 7.2.13 and board version 3.2.5. I downloaded Thanks for Post 2.0.6. Thanks, Brian.

With the environment you've posted it should work fine.
