Congrats hifikabin;

Great extension. Yes, like the poster about, how does one change the time zones?

Thank you.

There are no acp settings for this extension as it would have made it far too complex.

However, should you want to change to a different city in the same timezone, that is easy.

OPEN

hifikabin/timezoneclock/language/en/common.php

FIND the city you would like to change eg London

'LONDON' => 'London' ,

CHANGE the second instance of the city name eg

'LONDON' => 'Dublin' ,

SAVE/UPLOAD/PURGE CACHE

Hello HiFiKabin;

I've notice that Canberra is 2 hours off. The correct time should be +2 hours more.

Is there a way of changing time zones, not the cities in a particular time zone?

Thanks

Oh, thanks for that. I think the problem is that Canberra is on DST and somehow the code is not applying it.

I think I have found the error, but until Canberra goes back to 'normal' time I have no way of checking it will work properly.

Anyway, update the extension with the attached. The time is showing correctly at the moment for me, so please let me know if its working for you OK.

NOTE:- Attachment deleted as there is a new version available on my extensions website

Disable the extension, delete the style folder from the server, unzip the attached and upload it to replace the previously deleted folder, then enable the extension.

When I have some more time and energy I will start making it ACP configurable.

Thanks HiFiKabin;

The Canberra timezone is correct now. Some states of Australia observe daylight savings time. The states are ACT, NSW, TAS, SA, and VIC. For them daylight savings time ends on 2nd April.

Anyway to customize the timezones - not for changing cities but the timezones themselves?

Again, Thank you.
