Exclusion process is faulty

The forum Exclusion process not quite right.

Yes there are forums we might want to exclude altogether, like forums that have been retired.
But we should not have to exclude private forums. The list should, by default, show to the members only the forums they have access to.

I was going crazy at my site when members complained they were asked to log on to read certain topics. I thought i had set all the forum permissions right.
This extension displays the topic, whether the user have access to it or not. The user only finds out he has no access when he clicks the link. To solve the issue and stop the all the trouble, we had to exclude the forum.

This tutorial https://wiki.phpbb.com/Practical.Displa ... rnal_pages has it right.
I built it and ran it and it was correct. No read access, no display.
Can you please fix the issue in the next release? This is a nice mod. Thanks.

You're wrong and it does. Further, if they don't have access to certain forums and they are logged into the forum the software will state "Not authorized", not to log in.

So it seems you're a bit confused.
