I just verified an ordinary registered user I'd invited to my board, and when I did so, my username colour on the index page changed from red (the colour I've set for the admins group) to blue (the colour I've set for the registered users group). I unverified the user but that didn't change my username back to red. I then changed my default usergroup from admins to global mods and back again. That did the trick and my username changed back to red on the index page. To make sure it was definitely your extension causing this glitch, I reverified the same user and, again, my username on the index page changed back to blue. So I again changed my default usergroup to global mods and back to admins, and it again changed back to red.
EDIT: Sorry, just found out that the reason for this is a conflict with dmzx's Username Colour Changer 1.0.3,
https://www.dmzx-web.net/viewtopic.php?p=7641#p7641
I'll tell dmzx about it.

Good to know it wasn’t an issue with this extension.
