That file is misnamed, that is edits for Greek language boards not subsilver2 edits.

For subsilver2

Open styles/subsilver2/template/overall_header.html

Find

Code: Select all

            <a href="{U_FAQ}"><img src="{T_THEME_PATH}/images/icon_mini_faq.gif" width="12" height="13" alt="*" /> {L_FAQ}</a>

Add BEFORE

Code: Select all

            <!-- IF S_SHOW_HOMEPAGE and U_HOMEPAGE --><a href="{U_HOMEPAGE}" <!-- IF U_HOMEPAGE_TITLE -->title="{U_HOMEPAGE_TITLE}"<!-- ENDIF --><!-- IF S_SHOW_HOMEPAGE_IN_NEW -->onclick="window.open(this.href); return false;"<!-- ENDIF -->><img src="{T_THEME_PATH}/images/icon_mini_home.gif" width="12" height="13" alt="*" /> {L_HOMEPAGE}</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;<!-- ENDIF -->

Assuming you have run the necessary SQL queries, correctly made the file edits, purged the cache, and refreshed your style(s), the only other thing I would suggest trying is manually clearing your cache directory, that is, delete everything in it except for .htaccess and index.html.

In the ACP > GENERAL > BOARD CONFIGURATION > Board Settings there should be settings for the MOD
  • Show your homepage URL on the header:
  • Homepage in new window:
  • Homepage URL:
  • Homepage title:
Do you see any of these?

That suggests a problem with the edits to includes/acp/acp_board.php and possibly includes/functions.php.

Sweet, found it, thought it would be next to the "Board Index" on header, but found it among the "UCP" part of header. I do have a question though, how do I modify

!-- IF S_SHOW_HOMEPAGE_IN_NEW -->onclick="window.open(this.href);

to redirect to the page as opposed to opening a new window / tab ??? would prefer to reload current page to target...
