Need to tweak install file(s)

by Ctechinfo » Fri Dec 16, 2011 5:56 am

I downloaded the latest version of this mod. Uploaded the zip file via AutoMOD. When trying to install it, I get warnings that the language files do not exist..

language/el/common.php
Cannot locate file
language/el/acp/board.php
Cannot locate file

I do not have or use any other language except the default (English)..

Open the MOD's install.xml file with a good [wiki=Text_Editors]text editor[/wiki].

Find and delete

Code: Select all

         <link type="language" href="contrib/el.xml" lang="el">Greek (Hellenic) language changes</link>

Save and upload the file and try the install again.

Tried the edit you suggested, used Crimson editor. Same result. Probably a Chrome cache issue like the last MOD I installed. I have never encountered as many browser related issues when IE7 was around. I want my XP Pro back!!
