Ads Problem

by Dead Man » Mon Sep 15, 2014 12:33 am

Okay so I got the ads to appear. But I also want the ad to be inside the Table that says Advertisement Like how this one looks like. I installed everything so I do not know why that Table doesnt appear on mine. Mine just shows the Image by itself.

you will notice in the install instructions that you are asked to insert the following bit of code..

Code: Select all

 <!-- IF ADS_7 -->
<div class="forabg">
   <div class="inner"><span class="corners-top"><span></span></span>
      <ul class="topiclist">
         <li class="header">
            <dl class="icon">
               <dt>{L_ADVERTISEMENT}</dt>
            </dl>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div style="padding: 5px 5px 2px 5px; font-size: 1.1em; background-color: #ECF1F3; margin: 0px auto; text-align: center;">
         {ADS_7}
      </div>
   <span class="corners-bottom"><span></span></span></div>
</div>
<!-- ENDIF -->

This creates the box surrounding the advert, in this case {ADS_7}

Also in the install file it tells you to add the followng code ... {ADS_8}

This will just place the advert associated to ADS_8 on the page with no formatting.

So if you do not want any formatting just put {ADS_*} where *= the ad number you want there.

you will want some formatting though to center it.

so you need to use the following ...

Code: Select all

<div style="padding: 5px 5px 5px 5px; background-color: #{choose a colour to match your style}; margin: 0px auto; text-align: center;">
         {ADS_7}
      </div>
