Cannot see all Modules in ACP

by Jaymie1989 » Sun Oct 10, 2010 10:44 pm

Hi,

Installed this with no problems but the only module in the ACP I can see it the Settings.
I have enabled all the others but I cannot see them.

I installed it via AutoMOD.
I need help.

Make sure your account is set to be a board founder or that you have the correct administrative permissions to view them.

Hey,

Sorry I have not replied in a long time. I kinda forgot about this as I have not been using phpBB for a while.

I have changed the settings in the ACP

I still only have the option for the ACP Anti Spam Settings. :?

Do the other modules exist? Check the module management to make sure they are there. If not you'll probably want to run the antispam/remove_asacp.php file to uninstall the db part (which will be automatically reinstalled).

So I went ahead again and went to install the MOD, The installation options it gave me were to uninstall it. I thought I had just done that. Apparently not. Anywho, I uninstalled the MOD and then went back to the install to re-install it and I was wondering what Versions to select were. I have downloaded the 1.0.2 version from your site and that what was previously installed. But the option for 1.0.2 isnt there. :?

At this stage I have not installed this again until I know its ok to just install the 1.0.0 or not.

Hey,

You may as well ignore the above post.

I uninstalled the AutoMOD by mistake and now I messed up some other things. I'm going to reinstall my board and this should be fixed.

Thanks anyway and thanks for your time :D

Thought it unnecessary to create a new topic...hope that's okay!

Over a year ago I installed this....I messed things up & removed it in a panic....some residues remain.....

I have gone over the mods instal instructions and removed ALL traces....but as the screen shot shows.....how to remove those entries....please? :)

i get really really crazy nearly .... BUT!! i found the simple solution of the crazy misstake.

To solve this problem set your User of the Board simply to the Admin group as default EVEN if you are the Founder of the Board ...

Thats for all these guys which got the same Problem.

edit: This just work for one Forum but not for another.

Kind Regards

MCSell ;)

Hehe, i see this would not work for every Forum.
Perhaps there are other issues to solve before.

Hey,

i try it from beginning...
i have to install the Anti-Spam ACP with the AutoMod in my Forum.

My Forum Version is the 3.0.10 phpbb
PHP Version 5.3.3-7+squeeze14
Client API version 5.1.63 MySQL
My Anti-Spam ACP is at the Version 1.0.5

I set the rights for the Admin group to All yes. (As you can see here: http://prntscr.com/fvi34)
The Modules in .MODS are all visible/Enabled (http://prntscr.com/fvi34)

And now, my problem is: There are only 3 Modules visible in the .MODS
the Anti-Spam ACP Settings
the Spam Words and
the Profile Fields
(http://prntscr.com/fvi88)

Please help me, i really dont know what i should do now.

Kind Regards

Hey,

i just wanna let you know that i´ve done it. I reinstalled it with the antispam/remove_asacp.php and set the rights of the Administration Group again.
I set the User, Mod and Admin to full access and set the default group of my User to Administration group.
Thats it!

Kind Regards
