I would like the portal to be the home page for guests. It is the homepage when signed in for members but the portal disappears when not signed in. I have tried editing the permissions without success. What can I do to make the portal visible to visitors who are not signed in.

.htaccess already includes the code: DirectoryIndex portal.php index.php

You have to allow the guest group to see the portal.

• Users and groups (at the top)
• Group permissions (on the left)
• Choose the guest group from the dropdown, click submit
• Click advanced permissions (on the right)
• Click Misc and set Can view the Portal to yes and click apply permissions

Thanks 5hocK, but this does not appear to be the issue. I have already done this and I have had no luck. I just checked it again as I have done several times, just to make sure the permissions were not reverting for some reason, and the permissions remain set as you suggest. Any other possible suggestions?

Sounds like a different question, is you portal viewable for guests? Have you checked .htaccess edit?

That's the code for the new 3.1 portal, you have posted in the support area for the old 3.0 portal.

What board version do you have?

version 3.1.5, 5hocK. it is OK?

Yes but you have posted in the topic for 3.0, you should post where you downloaded the extension from viewtopic.php?f=456&t=2259081
