i've tried the Mod in a local forum and have lettle problems..

1- when i use [google chrome] and press PREVIEW button or SUBMIT button in the full editor, there is a messege appear before completing (submit or preview) order..

2- when i use [explorer] .. the background of LIVE PREVIEW (in the full editor) are more then usual in the left side..

i think this is a localhost problem, bcs. i can not reproduce the named effect on live testboards. further it works for me and many others in all browsers perfect.

i've tried it in a live forum and the problem still appear..
are other MODs could be the cause of this problem ?

by using [google chrome] you can see the problem..

hope fix this .. this is very important MOD for me..

Same problem with me. I check on http://www.4seven.de/forum/4test/ by Google Chrome 6.0.472.63
When I reply (Quick Reply nor PostReply) , a message box appear

Same for IE


FireFox is perfect!

seems like a new problem...

for several weeks it works in all these browsers 100%:

firefox, safari, ie8, opera, chrome > ok

edit:
after some tests it didn't work in chrome only

seems that newer chrome versions have an issue with ajax:

i figure it out. its just simple. fu** google-chrome sometimes handle the "xmlHttp.status = 200" incorrect, or in other words, the mlHttp.status is sometimes not right analyzed, so google-chrome shows a alert-popup. the live-preview always works, only the popup is nagging to acting further.

to fix

open

styles/prosilver/template/livepreview.js

and, if the qr-addition is installed

styles/prosilver/template/livepreview_quick.js

find



replace with

That seems to fix with full-quick-reply-mod. It didn't work still with phpbb-quick-reply in chrome

cannot reproduce, for me it works again in all cases.
of course u must do the right changes for the normal qr variant.

up to 99% a server (response) and not a mod problem.
