Edits for Glacier

by Amymations » Thu Nov 03, 2011 3:07 am

Hi there,
I'd really love to use this MOD but I have the Glacier theme (Which is prosilver based) but for some reason about 90% of the edits can't be made because original code isn't there. For example:

index_body.html

Code: Select all

<a href="{U_MCP}">{L_MCP}</a>

This code doesn't exist in my style/glacier/template/index_body.html

The same goes for any edits that require <a href="{U_MCP}">{L_MCP}</a>
Is there a fix for this?

That code to be found is in styles/glacier/template/mcp_header.html

The Glacier style has a drop-down menu styles/glacier/template/navigator.html and that is where the Moderator Control Panel link is. However, there doesn’t seem to be much point in putting the notifications from this MOD in a drop-down menu where they would likely be missed.

Therefore try this:

Open styles/glacier/template/index_body.html
Find

Code: Select all

 <p class="{S_CONTENT_FLOW_END}<!-- IF S_USER_LOGGED_IN --> rightside<!-- ENDIF -->"><!-- IF S_USER_LOGGED_IN -->{LAST_VISIT_DATE}<!-- ELSE -->{CURRENT_TIME}<!-- ENDIF --></p>
<!-- IF S_USER_LOGGED_IN --><p>{CURRENT_TIME}</p><!-- ENDIF -->

Replace with

Code: Select all

<p class="{S_CONTENT_FLOW_END}<!-- IF S_USER_LOGGED_IN --> rightside<!-- ENDIF -->"><!-- IF S_USER_LOGGED_IN -->{LAST_VISIT_DATE}<!-- ELSE -->{CURRENT_TIME}<!-- ENDIF --></p>
<!-- IF U_MCP --><p>{CURRENT_TIME} <br />[&nbsp;<a href="{U_MCP}">{L_MCP}</a> <!-- IF TOTAL_MODERATOR_REPORTS --> &bull; <a href="{U_MODERATOR_REPORTS}">{TOTAL_MODERATOR_REPORTS}</a><!-- ENDIF --><!-- IF TOTAL_MODERATOR_POSTS --> &bull; <a href="{U_MODERATOR_APPROVE_POSTS}">{TOTAL_MODERATOR_POSTS}</a><!-- ENDIF --><!-- IF TOTAL_MODERATOR_TOPICS --> &bull; <a href="{U_MODERATOR_APPROVE_TOPICS}">{TOTAL_MODERATOR_TOPICS}</a><!-- ENDIF --><!-- IF TOTAL_MODERATOR_PMS --> &bull; <a href="{U_MODERATOR_PMS}">{TOTAL_MODERATOR_PMS}</a><!-- ENDIF -->&nbsp;]</p>
<!-- ELSEIF S_USER_LOGGED_IN --><p>{CURRENT_TIME}</p><!-- ENDIF -->

Open styles/glacier/template/viewforum_body.html

Find

Code: Select all

 <!-- INCLUDE overall_header.html -->

After add

Code: Select all

 <!-- IF U_MCP --><p>[&nbsp;<a href="{U_MCP}">{L_MCP}</a> <!-- IF TOTAL_MODERATOR_REPORTS --> &bull; <a href="{U_MODERATOR_REPORTS}">{TOTAL_MODERATOR_REPORTS}</a><!-- ENDIF --><!-- IF TOTAL_MODERATOR_POSTS --> &bull; <a href="{U_MODERATOR_APPROVE_POSTS}">{TOTAL_MODERATOR_POSTS}</a><!-- ENDIF --><!-- IF TOTAL_MODERATOR_TOPICS --> &bull; <a href="{U_MODERATOR_APPROVE_TOPICS}">{TOTAL_MODERATOR_TOPICS}</a><!-- ENDIF --><!-- IF TOTAL_MODERATOR_PMS --> &bull; <a href="{U_MODERATOR_PMS}">{TOTAL_MODERATOR_PMS}</a><!-- ENDIF -->&nbsp;]</p><!-- ENDIF -->

Open styles/glacier/template/viewtopic_body.html

Find

Code: Select all

 <!-- INCLUDE overall_header.html -->

After add

Code: Select all

 <!-- IF U_MCP --><p>[&nbsp;<a href="{U_MCP}">{L_MCP}</a> <!-- IF TOTAL_MODERATOR_REPORTS --> &bull; <a href="{U_MODERATOR_REPORTS}">{TOTAL_MODERATOR_REPORTS}</a><!-- ENDIF --><!-- IF TOTAL_MODERATOR_POSTS --> &bull; <a href="{U_MODERATOR_APPROVE_POSTS}">{TOTAL_MODERATOR_POSTS}</a><!-- ENDIF --><!-- IF TOTAL_MODERATOR_TOPICS --> &bull; <a href="{U_MODERATOR_APPROVE_TOPICS}">{TOTAL_MODERATOR_TOPICS}</a><!-- ENDIF --><!-- IF TOTAL_MODERATOR_PMS --> &bull; <a href="{U_MODERATOR_PMS}">{TOTAL_MODERATOR_PMS}</a><!-- ENDIF -->&nbsp;]</p><!-- ENDIF -->

Untested, but it should work.

Thanks! I believe it works. There's nothing in moderation queue as of yet, so I can't really test to see if they show up on index but there link is there and looks great!
