As Adminstrator/Global moderator I don't have any "Never" setting in my permissions. Indeed I could access any portion of the board, go into the MCP, the ACP and perform administrative tasks without any problem.

Doesn't the fact that I have the "[ Moderator Control Panel ]" link at the top mean that I have the needed permissions for this mod (see screen shot above)? Or does this mod need further/different permissions? Looking at the php code it doesn't appear so...

I am trying very hard to get this mod working and supplying you with as much info as possible, please look over my previous post and see you could think of anything else that may be keeping this mod from working. I appreciate your help.

Is there a file called data_hooks.php within your cache directory and if so please post what it has within it.

Yes, there is such a file in the cache directory. The content is:

Code: Select all

<?php exit; ?>

The above led me to look at the hooks mechanism and I found the problem. The root/includes/hooks directory had 711 permission, but needs to be 755. After fixing that and purging the cache, the mod now works!

If this mod works on a 3.0.10 board, why isn't it marked as 3.0.10 compatible in the drop down download menu?

Because it hasn't been validated for 3.0.10.

Installed on 3.0.10, works fine. Thanks for the mod!! I wish there was an option of PM or Emailing which is important for not very busy forums, but this is probably more difficult to program.
