X-Treme Theme layout/display issues

by Pac-Man » Fri Dec 05, 2014 8:56 pm

Hello I am a new administrator to a PHPBB 3.0.12 board. The board owner was not wanting to cover the hosting costs and did not have the time to properly maintain it. I am having trouble with the PayPal Donation Mod. I cannot get it to display properly with Extreme - Red theme that is in use on our site.

Theme Link:

Board Link:

I tried following the instructions you had provided for another user who was using a similar theme Extreme - Silver as you will notice that the Dontate button is the one you provided for him and does not match our theme.

I know you are busy and don't have time to help everyone, but if you could take a look and let me know what I am doing wrong I would greatly appreciate it. I am very much new to this and learning as I go.

Hi,

please can you rename the topic title? This one is not helpful for other users browsing this forum.

About your forum you must:
1/ update your style to 3.0.12 because is still in 3.0.8
2/ disable the directory indexes on your webserver.

Regarding your issue, please provide me a test account with standard user rights and Donation users rights.

Hello,

I renamed the topic. I hope this is more suitable as a description.

I am not sure how to update the style I have to 3.0.12. Is there an easy way to convert it? The board is really set on this look.

I have disabled the indexing.

Here is a user account for you:

Username: Wilton
Password: Knight

Thank you in advance for all your help!

I've write a mistake in my previous post.
it was not the directory indexes that you must disable (but you can let disabled), but you must add index.php to directoryindex

This permit to access directly to http://www.knightriderrevolution.com/forum/index.php when we go to http://www.knightriderrevolution.com/forum/

Regarding "donate" page
You've uploaded the template files for Prosilver. X-treme styles are based on subsilver2. So replace files with the subsilver2 version ;)

How to update your style from 3.0.8 to 3.0.12
You can try to compare the code change of Subsilver2 with your X-treme Style
This is not an easy work.
