Does anyone still use this mod and if so, is it secure enough to still use?

I know there is an extension, so I'm not asking about that, I mean the 1.0.4 version of the mod for phpbb3.0.xx. Not asking for support really either, I do know support has ended. I just want to know if anyone still uses this and if it's secure enough to use. Regardless of the version of phpbb or any issues from that.

For what reason, it will become insecure?
And if this is the case, it will not be due to the MOD but to phpBB.

Most users have migrated to phpBB 3.1.x / 3.2x.
Do the same thing. By the way, you will benefit from all the new features included in the extension.

I have two small 3.0.14 forums and use it without issue.
