Re: phpbb digests for phpbb 3.1?
I plan to support it but to be truthful I simply haven't looked at it yet. It's hard to invest too much time until the code base is relatively stable. Also I have a lot to learn about 3.1's features and I confess I haven't dug into it.
The good news is I am about to retire so I'll have more time in the months ahead, assuming that's how I want to spend my time.

With 3.1 readily available, is there any chance you're ready to convert? I know my users like the Digests feature

Sorry, not any time soon. This will be a major project and will involve a substantial rewrite of the code. I do this when I have time. I haven't put together a plan but my guess is it will take about a year to put out a production version for 3.1.

I would appreciate that, too. I am missing your digest-function already.

+1 for a 3.1 version of the Digests mod (which is great - thanks!). I am regretting upgrading to 3.1 for my BB given we have lost this functionality and am actually wondering if I should revert back.

There's no way I can upgrade to 3.1 without Digests. It's absolutely essential for my users.

Please please can you try look at this - I'm itching to rebuild my site on 3.1 but my members are heavily dependent on this mod and smartfeed

I too vote for a conversion to an extension, and also now regret upgrading to 3.1 and losing all of my installed mods, the digests probably was the most used and popular feature of the forum.

3.1 development has started and I'm retrofitting the ACP digests interface to start. Have no idea when I'll have something ready to show but my guess is maybe two months to get to a development version. I started first with a port of my Smartfeed mod to an extension as it is easier to get my brain around that for a first extension.
When a development version is available it will be announced in the appropriate 3.1 forum here.
