Not mine. I didn't get anything. For example, the left column of my ACP looks like:

Quick access
* Manage users
* Manage groups
* Manage forums
* Moderator log
* Spiders/Robots
* PHP information
Board configuration
* Attachment settings
* Board settings
* Board features
* Avatar settings
* Private message settings
* Post settings
* Signature settings
* Feed settings
* User registration settings
* Spambot countermeasures
Client communication
* Authentication
* E-mail settings
* Jabber settings
Server configuration
* Cookie settings
* Server settings
* Security settings
* Load settings
* Search settings
* Send statistical information

Yet, in /phpbb3/sitemap/, there are numerous .xml file of varying sizes.

Similarly, /phpbb3/sitemap.php says:

[quote]This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

<sitemapindex>

<sitemap>
<loc>http://www.dddpl.com/phpbb3/sitemap/1.xml</loc>
<lastmod>2010-12-04T14:30:38+00:00</lastmod>
</sitemap>

<sitemap>
<loc>http://www.dddpl.com/phpbb3/sitemap/8.xml</loc>
<lastmod>2010-12-04T14:30:38+00:00</lastmod>
</sitemap>

<sitemap>
<loc>http://www.dddpl.com/phpbb3/sitemap/9.xml</loc>
<lastmod>2010-12-04T14:30:38+00:00</lastmod>
</sitemap>

...−
<sitemap>
<loc>http://www.dddpl.com/phpbb3/sitemap/0.xml</loc>
<lastmod>2010-12-04T14:31:15+00:00</lastmod>
</sitemap>
</sitemapindex>

So, I think it's working. I just can't verify nor control it - which is frustrating.

Earlier today, it was brought to my attention that, at least, one mod is having a problem installing under phpbb3 3.0.8. It was not sitemap fx, though, and, if memory recalls, I was having this same sitemap fx problem prior to upgrading to 3.0.8.

So, I donno...

You need to check that you've uploaded all the files to the correct place, especially those with acp, check the language file

I downloaded fresh copy of sitemap_fx_1_0_8 and checked the files, one at a time.

They were all copied over into their proper spots.

The only thing that did not get copied over was the umil directory; I did that, in the past, using a umil directory that came with a mod, and AutoMod told me that it was out-dated.

The "up-to-date" umil directory - which I am still presently using, however - contains the same files as the umil directory which came with sitemap_fx_1_0_8.

Could that be my problem?

you should activate this module first

SYSTEM -> ADMINISTRATION CONTROL PANEL
find Sitemap FX in the list and ADD MODULE

then

General -> Board configuration -> Enable Sitemap FX

I enabled Sitemap FX via your attachment settings, above, but Sitemap FX is still not showing up in the left column of the General tab.

UPDATE:
(December 10, 2010)

After logging out and then logging back into my site and ACP, a Sitemap FX tab showed up. It appears to be a control panel, for Sitemap FX.

But there is still no sign of Sitemap FX under the General tab.

I thought there was supposed to be a link for Sitemap FX under the General tab.

Please comment.

I get the same message:

Code: Select all

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
This is my sitemap: http://onanisti.ro/sitemap.php
Is it normal?

LATER EDIT: Nevermind. I have uninstalled this MOD and installed this: https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/mod/ ... o_sitemap/
My forum: Under construction...
