Blog Moderator CP - User Blog Mod

Blog Moderator CP

by Jessica » Mon Aug 22, 2011 1:03 am

for a long time now I'm unable to access the Blog Moderator CP from the My Blogs page. BUT I can go there by going to Moderator CP --> Blogs.

the thing is, in the address bar for MCP --> Blogs, it's mcp.php?i=282. but when I go to My Blogs --> Blog Moderator CP, it's mcp.php?i=blog. I get a General Error, saying the module is not accessible. I don't know if it's because it says i=blog in the address bar instead of i=282 that makes it not work.

I checked in styles/prosilver/template/blog/view_blog.html and saw this:

Code: Select all

<p>[&nbsp;<a href="{U_BLOG_MCP}">{L_BLOG_MCP}</a>&nbsp;]</p>

where do I edit the url link for U_BLOG_MCP? would that fix this problem? if not, what would?

Perhaps something changed with a newer version of phpBB, it works fine on my older installation. What version of phpBB do you have installed?

no, I don't think it's the version. I had this problem when my forum was 3.0.8. then I updated when 3.0.9 came out. still there. so it can't be the version...

I have a earlier version and it works fine, I'll try to get some time to test it out in the next day or two
