Unmil error

by Red Star » Thu Jun 23, 2016 8:04 pm

I keep getting an unmil error that says:
[ phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/umil/umil.php on line 157: include(../includes/db/db_tools.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory
[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/umil/umil.php on line 157: include(../includes/db/db_tools.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory
[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/umil/umil.php on line 157: include(): Failed opening '../includes/db/db_tools.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/opt/alt/php55/usr/share/pear:/opt/alt/php55/usr/share/php')
Any help?

What version of phpBB are you using?

Automod doesn't work on 3.1 branch and there is no need for it which if you read the description in the contribution details you would know

AutoMOD is incompatible with phpBB 3.1.x and attempts to install and use it could result in board failures. phpBB 3.1.x has its own way of handling extensions and a tool like AutoMOD is no longer needed.

So how do I get any type of automod on 3.1.9?

You don't as it isn't needed.

Wait until they are made into extensions or learn how to make them into extensions. You are also free to modify the core code of phpBB BUT any update may render those edits null and void.

Automod was made specifically to assist users in modifying the core code of phpBB (hence the term "modification"). You can still modify the core code of phpBB but you may lose those edits during an update in which case you would be on your own.

Automod was made specifically for the 3.0 branch and not the 3.1 branch and it even states that installing it on the 3.1 branch may break your forum.

The choice is yours as to what you decide to do but more than likely you will not receive support if you modify core code of phpBB and break your forum.
