Firefox vs. Internet Explorer - Login - Absolution

Firefox vs. Internet Explorer - Login

I installed the "Absolution" Style successful on http://www.buxtehude-online.com.
Unfortunatly I realized that the display of the Login and the sentence if "user wants to stay online" is somehow in the wrong place with Firefox. With Internet Explorer everything looks fine.
Here you can find the screenshot with Firefox:

And here the "correct" display with Internet Explorer:

I don't think this has something to do with the fixed width, because when I open the DEMO of the Style, I exactly have the same problem, so it is not something messed with just by Board.
I checked yesterday with Safari on my MacBook and unfortunatly the same error.

Any idea?

That's caused by your "remember me" text being too long. In firefox it stays on one line, becomes too wide for the header and then breaks onto a new line causing that portion of the header to drop down. In IE, the text just wraps onto a new line so that part of the header's width remains the same.

You can make your board wider by editing forum-width.css , to accommodate the extra width.

Note: The header is being cleaned up for the 3.0.8 release.

You mean the German Translation of the Original Text is too long? I am asking, because the same "error" appears when I open the Demo of "Absolution" so this seems to be something everyone encounters, right? I think I will just shorten the text. Can you guide me where to find it?

EDIT: It is under Language/xx/common.php
I shorten the text and now it works. Thank you very much!

I dont want to make another topic for this as it is related to Firefox and IE as well.
In the common.css I changed the Font Type to Verdana. In IE it seems to work fine, but in Firefox it does not look correct.
Any idea?
PS: I checked also the zoom level in Firefox but everything is normal. You can check www.buxtehude-online.com once with Firefox and once with IE. The Font Type in the Threads looks different!

Sorry for the delay in seeing this, I forgot I wasn't subscribed to this topic.

Anyway, both fonts look the same to be in Firefox and IE. Are you still experiencing this problem?
