Great style...appreciate all the work but I have a weird issue.

After upgrading, all my users' signature images appear 20-40% faded until you actually scroll over the image. When hovering or scrolling, the image turns 100% brightness.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I'm a bit late to the party here, but I solved this a while ago by removing the opacity rule under the .signature selector in theme/content.css. You can also remove the .signature:hover selector since the hover rule will no longer be needed.
