Changing this styles width

by Fezroux » Sun Feb 03, 2019 4:30 am

Where do I change the width of this style? I believe you edit the common.css file but am not sure which part. I'd like this style to be 100% of the screen width.

Thanks!

Hello Fezroux

In blackfog.css line 1( Because of the border you can make 96 or 97% )

Code: Select all

.wrap {
	background-image: url("./images/background2.jpg") !important;
	background-color: #333;
	margin: 35px auto 23px auto;
	width: 97%;
	border: 5px solid #666;
	border-radius: 7px;
	box-shadow: 0 0 0 2px hsl(0, 0%, 50%), 0 0 0 3px hsl(0, 0%, 60%), 0 0 0 6px hsl(0, 0%, 60%), 0 0 0 11px hsl(0, 0%, 70%), 0 0 0 15px hsl(0, 0%, 80%);
	padding: 5px;
}
But if this requires responsive changes, I have to see first. Probably, however, yes, because in the small responsive views no border is indicated.

You can also specify auto or 100% for width, but then it looks like this:
blackfog full.jpg
If you wish no border left and right = width: auto - the responsive looks okay

If you wish border left and right = width: 97% you must make a change in the responsive.css for 1024px displays.

responsive.css line 598 above no-avatar insert

Code: Select all

@media only screen and (max-width: 1024px), only screen and (max-device-width: 1024px) {
	.wrap {
	width: 95% !important;
	}
}

@media only screen and (max-width: 700px), only screen and (max-device-width: 700px) {
	.no-avatar .avatar-container {

Thanks for taking the time to help, and to give a thorough response. I did as you suggested, and I was able to get it to work.

Thanks again!
