A few bugs ?

by VCO » Mon Oct 23, 2017 6:56 am

Hi Lehrling and thanks for sharing this style.

I have noticed a few bugs :

- When using Greek Language , in some mobile Devices some characters do not appear correctly.
Is there a quick way to change the Font to a more compatible Font like Arial ?

-In a few mobile devices , the search function at the upper right corner is not displayed.

-When "Birthdays notification" is disabled there is a cut out on the forum graphics, down on the main page.

- In all mobile devices the background picture does not follow page scrolling down

thanks

Hi again,

Open the stylesheet.css and find

Code: Select all

@font-face {
    font-family: oswald;
    src: url("./font/oswald.ttf");
}
Add arial, in front of oswald, so arial will be displayed. Remember to adjust the font sizes.
-In a few mobile devices , the search function at the upper right corner is not displayed.
This is due to the responsive layout. Try this out:
Find @media only screen and (max-width: 900px), only screen and (max-width: 900px) {
in the stylesheet.css. Scroll down til (line 1653)

Code: Select all

.search-header {
	display:none;
         }
Remove this code.
-When "Birthdays notification" is disabled there is a cut out on the forum graphics, down on the main page.
Open the overall_footer.html and find

Code: Select all

<!-- EVENT overall_footer_content_after -->
	</div>
at the top of the page. Cut out </div> and place it before

Code: Select all

</body>
</html>
at the end of the page. Purge the cache.
- In all mobile devices the background picture does not follow page scrolling down
This is the way it should be. It's no bug. If you want the picture to scroll, then find in the stylesheet.css

Code: Select all

html, body {
	color: #210b00;
	background-image: url("./images/body_bg.jpg");
	background-repeat: no-repeat;
	background-attachment:fixed;
    background-color: #555555;
	}
and remove background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-attachment:fixed;

Purge the cache and reload the page. I hope everything is fine now.
