Hopefully this will make sense.

Can member 1 set specific colors for themselves and can another member use different color settings without impacting any other members.

In other words, all members can select the colors they wish to use.

As far as I can tell if I as the admin set the colors they remain the same for everyone.

(Edit) it appears changes based on cookies is this correct?

Does using damaio eliminate the use of any other styles?

Yes, users define the colours themselves in their browser without affecting other users.

You can define the basic colours and let users change them as they wish, or impose your choice of colours and disable the selector for users.

The colours are stored in the current browser using localStorage.

No, you can have as many different styles as you like on your board.

In regards to different styles being available. It appears when I install the damiao style, it removes the ability for members to select a different style if they choose, am I missing something?

Please check:
ACP > General > Board settings (left menu) > Override user style: No
