Blurry logo while in responsive mode

by jonthee » Tue Dec 19, 2017 11:37 pm

Hi!

First of all, thank you very much for a great and clean style!

Second, I was wondering if someone could help me out a bit. I have followed the instructions for the logo to appear in responsive mode as well, which works fine, although it is kind of blurry. I know this is because I need to upload a larger scale logo (or vector file), but when I do, it wont fit the pre-configured static size in the CSS-file. I just cant come up with the code for this, although I've done it before.

For example, I would like to use a 3x size PNG logo which scales down so it wont be blurry in responsive.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

The blurriness is most likely caused by the logo being scaled by the CSS so you would need to add a media query into the stylesheet to switch to a smaller logo and alter the defined size of the .site_logo class.

Hi!

Thanks, that's my thought as well =)

Any suggestions how you would do it to best fit the style?

Thanks again,

It would all depend on the size of your logo. As you shrink the screen size it's best to drop your logo size before it becomes too large for its container.

Hi!

The logo is approx. 350 px in width.

Maybe you'll include a feature for the next release, to have a standard logo size and an HD-logo while in responsive mode =) ?

Thanks in advance.
