Update for phpBB 3.3.5 needed? - Flat Style
Update for phpBB 3.3.5 needed?
Hi,
are there any template changes for phpBB 3.3.5 or can we keep using the current version of Flat Style (1.1.4)?
Thank you for the great work!

Re: Update for phpBB 3.3.5 needed?
There are a few, which link updated versions of some 3rd party scripts, and two twmplate events in viewtopic_body.html. You should still be OK to use 1.1.4 until I get an update out, but please test first just to be double sure.

Re: Update for phpBB 3.3.5 needed?
Working okay for me so far.
Would it be possible when the update is out to post changes we could apply (if there are not that many) ourselves? I've done a fair bit of customisation to the original style and I'd hate to go through that lot again

All the code changes are posted on Area51 here: https://area51.phpbb.com/code-changes/3 ... -prosilver
It's what I use when I do updates so you'll be all good using this.

Thanks very much for that.
Heck more changes than I thought and I've no idea on how to use the diff files. Looks like I will make my modifications by hand again

Re: Update for phpBB 3.3.5 needed?
Many thanks, muchly appreciated. Downoading.
What is the best way of installing? I'd be looking to re-create my Flat Grey style. Download, do the edits and copy over the top of the existing style? Or do a new Grey style and ask folks to switch to it?

If it's just a straight colour change, copy one of the existing colour variants (any except the original orange) and name it flat-style-greydbrewood wrote:Many thanks, muchly appreciated. Downoading.

Do your edits to your newly created style it should just be in the colour-override.css file, and remember to change the name in style.cfg
Upload to your server, you will also need the original orange flat-style and also prosilver to inherit from
If you want everyone to use your grey style, set it as the board default and set 'override user style' to yes - you can then deactivate prosilver and flat-style but DO NOT uninstall them - your grey style still needs to use the files

Re: Update for phpBB 3.3.5 needed?
Thanks for the tips. It's a colour change, logo change, background image and width, so a few changes, but hopefully I can work out what I did. Alas I didn't make notes

All done, apart I can't work out how to change the colour of the 'online' icon. If you can advise it'd be appreciated.
