How to change background in ul.forums

Hi, is possible change background in ul.forums to transparent or little transparent.
If i try change it, the color will begin to appear below it.

that value can be changed on line 296 of colours.css

Thanks, but not work for me. If i start change it to little transparent - start showing here yellow color.
