I am looking at theme/images but I do not see the Icon for quick links, I do not see the ACP icon, I do not see the MCP hammer, I do not even see the Faq question mark. where Are they held please?

Its a font. Its called "awesome font". Its a new way to create the symbols of prosilver in phpBB 3.2.

well thanks for that, but say you have the Video Gallery Ext or Quotes Collection Ext enabled

The style inherts the Ext icons from prosilver and it looks terrible!

This is really not nice. For a short fix you have to change this 2 icons in the extensions-path by your own. It would be better if this two extensions find a awesome-font-icon for their extension.

Prosilver is always going to be there - it's the foundation and as with many styles, this one inherits from it

It doesn't matter if you make your latest style a default there will always be a huge amount of your members who simply switch back to Prosilver because that is what they remember

So what is needed are styles which work with their own set of icons and the minute we have Extensions - this is where we have problems and obviously Ext/ Style authors are going to take a few years, decades probably to come around to font awesome, no matter how beautiful it is

in the meantime? well we can't have a solution that involves compromising prosilver because there will always be members who won't want your custom style, they want prosilver

we need a solution that satisfies A) Prosilver and B) the custome style, not one that is mutually exclusive to the other, this could be a real problem for any Admins who have EXTs onboard, real stumbling block

But there is no A and B between prosilver and my style. We live in perfect harmony. Both of us got rid of this little graphic-icons.

You are using two extensions that are not released from the community-database. The fact that they are not using font-awesome icons is not really phpBB 3.2.X

Everything is fine with my style and the extensions. Just have a look to this screenshot.
You have to update your extension maybe?
