Dear PayBas, What about phpbb3.2 update? - PBTech
Dear PayBas, What about phpbb3.2 update?
Currently looking at a php3.1.10 version of this template, cloned from my install on a php3.2 test site. There are many things out of place. Some I can't even discover in css which is so confusing. Don't feel comfortable yet going to 3.2. Any one else having same issue?

Re: Dear PayBas, What about phpbb3.2 update?
Thanks for this info about testing on 3.2.. I'll have to wait I guess until it does get updated. As I was gonna go live with it on 3.2 when it was released. I had just moved from 3.0.12 to 3.1.10 over the Holiday break from a personal style to this style. I really like this style.kaspir wrote:Currently looking at a php3.1.10 version of this template, cloned from my install on a php3.2 test site. There are many things out of place. Re: Dear PayBas, What about phpbb3.2 update?
thought I'd offer a suggestion, since this style uses the prosilver style, maybe there's parts inside it's stylesheets that might need changed and or language/functions sections. I might actually do this, installing this on a subdomain and testing this out on 3.2.kaspir wrote:Some I can't even discover in css which is so confusing
However maybe PayBas will reply

I can tell what I figured out after posting here last... your PBTech overall_header will need to add/load new .css files (one of them called icons.css) from the 3.2 prosilver update, as well as the fontawesome.min.css which I just downloaded my own and copied it to pbtech folder to load it that way. I guess you could load from the assets/ folder too.
After that's updated, there were a few css tweaks, and presto.. PBTech good as new. I'm actually going to revert the index_body back to a forum list, instead of the blocks.

I too like the blocks, I just describe them as main categories, ya know? They also look way better for a mobile index. Just for me, it might be a perfect world to get those blocks on just the mobile view and default index on monitors. Perhaps that can be done by loading separate indexes for each.BadCompany wrote:I like the blocks but I have a feeling my users don't. I'll find out more this coming Sunday after I do a Q&A with them in person on the big screen.

Sure, I can hlp provide temp fixes. Send me a link to your site, as I honestly forget what that was apart of (I've done far too many edits!), assuming in css, I can just inspect your elements and should be able to provide answer from there.ossi0110 wrote: can u maybe lend me a hand ? im trying since 3 days to figure out why my Post Background is messed up like this

Re: Dear PayBas, What about phpbb3.2 update?
Add this segment of css code anywhere, top or bottom. (I like to keep mine organized in my own little way):
Code: Select all
dl.icon { background-repeat: no-repeat; }
EDIT: Perhaps add that css to the very top, or somewhere where you can remember to remove when no longer needed after update! Stay clean, enjoy.

I've also used the earlier mentioned fix for the repeating post-icons. My icon is also a little misshapen like the second screenshot ossi0110 posted. How do I change the alignment on this one?ossi0110 wrote:changed it like you said now the Topic Post Background dont repeats anymore ,

I also have the problem that my default editor buttons don't show up.See:
What can I do to fix that?
