I am using the advertisement management extension
and just have one banner ad above the footer and it is not responsive
checking their support board it looks like that is a template function
Ive searched on here and dont see much information regarding that
Ive tried adding class="responsive" to the html of the ad (no result but why not try)
and since this pulls info from the prosilver template Im not even sure if Im asking in the right place
any help would be appreciated

Re: responsive banner ads, are not
One thing to check is whether it "should be" responsive, versus "actually is" responsive if you temporarily select prosilver as the style for your user instead of proflat. Meaning on the same board with the same configuration and the same version of everything, if you only change which style is being used, does the advertisement then behave responsively as expected.
It's not "a function of the style" to have advertisements at all, let alone to make them responsive. So its not entirely obvious what they would expect "the template should have done." The only way I would know to figure that out would be to have your site open with proflat used in one window, and your site with prosilver used in the other window, so that you can use F12 developer tools to compare what's applying and allowing responsive behavior in one but not the other.
But again, that's assuming the same ad actually is responsive in prosilver "as advertised."

Re: responsive banner ads, are not
thanks that helps
I just tried it in one other style and prosilver and it was responsive in none of them, making me think its not the style, and time to look more at the extention
