After almost 2 years of using the logo/background extension, it started causing some serious issues on the site.
I could not remove it. Through the help a member, I was able to remove it.

After that, I decided to not use the extension.
So I proceeded to install the background & it shows up fine,

...but for 2 days I have been trying to get the logo to show.

I have followed the directions at:

and I am having no luck.

yes, The code is in place... link sent

Code placement looks good in the source code, possibly stuck behind cache though.

Try clicking purge cache button on the front page of the Admin control panel

I have done that at admin panel & also deleting phpbb cache directly from the 'webhost cpanel'.

still no logo is visible.

Logo is finally visible again.
Strange, by replacing the .png image with the same in .jpg it worked ?!
