There is a new release of phpBB, v3.3.0 available. A quick check indicates that we_universal v2.5.9 is compatible with the new version of phpBB,

I will be making a new release of we_universal for phpBB v3.3.0, but it will probably be several weeks before it is available, caused a shortage of my time, followed by the time taken for official validation.

For now, I would advise using we_universal v2.5.9 with phpBB v3.3.0, it should work perfectly well for most forums.

Bad timing.

I looked at my list of extensions and other stuff to sort out for phpBB 3.3.0 and decided to release this style as it is for now, so I submitted it for approval about 2 hours before I saw your post.

So...which one of you two are wanting to give support for this style going forward? :ugeek:

I am assuming that it is me, but I would not be offended if someone else takes responsibility.

For now I would prefer to proceed with validation of the version 2.6.0 that I submitted yesterday, as that is based on a stable version of the code with just a couple of minor tweaks,I think it better to quickly release a version for phpBB 3.3.0.

A new improved version could be released any time later.
