Hi,
Is it possible to have the number of unread posts next to the words 'Unread Posts' in the top menu bar? Failing that, some form of colour change to show that there are unread posts waiting to be looked at?
I have moved from ProSilver where I used the extension 'Activity Buttons' so my users are used to seeing a number.

I had a quick look at the code, and I don't think that the core code passes the number of unread posts to the style, so it can't be done without an extension.
Does the Activity Buttons extension work with we_universal?

Yes it works, but screws up the layout.
Also, it looks poor when the buttons exist in the theme, and are then duplicated above in a different format.
It would be great if the code for mthe activity buttons could be incorporated into the theme. Unfortunately I don't have those skills.
